CRM Solutions for Nonprofits

We are an independent nonprofit organization founded in 2001 to build respectful communities and broaden opportunities for immigrants through language education, cultural exchange and friendship.
  • Affordable and flexible English classes for 1000 adult immigrants each year, taught by 400 trained volunteers at students' homes, nonprofit agencies, and at public buildings.
  • Resource workshops on issues such as health, housing, cultural understanding, laws and finances.
  • Intercultural exchange through community social events such as potlucks, fiestas, camping trips and park clean-ups.

Intercambio provides opportunities for native-born community members to volunteer and help guide immigrants linguistically and culturally through the difficult process of integration. We have packaged our model to share with communities that want to implement a high-quality and efficient program by using volunteer teachers. Here are the components we offer:

  • A user-friendly 12-level curriculum with teacher books and assessments
  • A high-quality and practical six-hour volunteer training
  • Intercambio in a Box to provide infrastructure tips and templates
  • An efficient and user-friendly program database
See detailed descriptions of the above components here.
