Program Director - Longmont

Job Description:
The Longmont Program Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the program in Longmont, including organizing all English classes, coordinating resource workshops and planning intercultural events.  The position requires Spanish fluency and a desire to enhance cultural understanding.  40+ hours a week. 

Responsibilities:

Organize Longmont group & home classes (70+ per year)

Supervise Longmont Program Assistant and implement staff evaluations

Coordinate and implement recruitment of volunteers and students in Longmont

Oversee scheduling and administering of pre- and post-assessments for all students

Facilitate volunteer trainings in Longmont quarterly

Manage Longmont office and budget, supply ordering, relationship with building partners

Oversee collection registration and book fees from Longmont students

Supervise, manage and delegate tasks for 3-7 interns in Longmont

Track data for all Longmont students and further develop database and ensure monthly or bimonthly communication with Longmont students

Track data for all Longmont students and report to Development Director 

Work with AC to order books and necessary materials for Longmont volunteers, and be an available resource for them

Further develop database and ensure it is constantly updated with accurate information

Continue to strengthen and create new collaborations with other Longmont agencies

Schedule and coordinate five or more intercultural events in Longmont annually

Frequently attend intercultural and community building events outside of the regular work week

Develop and promote resource workshops for Intercambio group classes in Longmont

Desired Skills and Experience:  The ideal candidate will be a very organized and self-motivated individual and have all of the following qualifications.

Dedication to Intercambio’s mission

College degree in related field

100% bilingual English/Spanish

Must have transportation (Intercambio will reimburse for mileage)

Ability to work independently and with a team

Experience in managing staff and volunteers 

Computer, internet and database experience (Word, Access, Excel and Outlook)

Experience working with immigrants

Minimum two-year commitment to Intercambio

 

Benefits:

            -$35,000-$39,000 depending on experience
